# Two-Line Element の Epoch は、計測日？

違います。 Two-Line Element (TLE) の Epoch は観測日とは限らず、過去や未来の時間が指定されている場合があります。

@yashi は、なぜ未来が指定される必要があるのか分かっていないので、知っている人は教えてください。以下の [Space Exploration](https://space.stackexchange.com/) でも議論になっていますが、推測の域を出ていません。
